We have clear guide line/ duties for individual’s on board and in office for safe, clean and sustainable operation of vessel. Critical spare requirement in engine room, deck, cargo operation for various type of vessel has been defined. Special focus has been given on reliability of machinery, maintenance record keeping to ensure that routines are being carried out on time. Incase of any breakdown maintenance, we capture data of particular type of machinery, make and model for future record. We strongly believe in learning from every circumstances and carry out detailed root cause analysis and make sure to avoid similar failure in future. All critical operation, be it person responsible for operation on board and shore are well defined. All critical operation are supported by risk assessment which is thoroughly reviewed by our team at shore to mitigate risk before job is performed. Our on board team are trained to carry out on site assessment, before commencing job to ensure that risk are lowered before undertaking any operation. Any introduction of new process or machinery on board is being properly supported by management of change. Management of change ensures that there is seamless transition from old to new system.

To ensure optimum performance, we at Sirtica advice to fix basic sensors for capturing fuel, speed, shaft power meter, external force like wind, current live data and transmit to office. This data can be used to interpolate vessel’s actual performance. This is instrumental in analysing vessel’s carbon foot print for CII.We use this tool to do voyage planning versus present performance. We have also tied up with external agencies for detailed analysis. There tools are aiding ships with voyage planning, inform vessel present CII rating, next six months rating and measure to improve the same in future. We use electronic tool to record main engine and auxiliary engine performance. Reliable tools are available at very economical cost. This eliminates human error while recording data. Quarterly all main engine and auxiliary engine data is being analysed by maker. We have tied up with prominent engine maker and there affiliates for this service. We have tied with service company to do main engine units liner profiling and wear down analysis of vessel without removing unit. We recommend yearly profiling. We have live cameras on bridge showing 360 degree view connected with vessel internet to assist vessel in case of emergency. E-Oil record book is being accepted by most of flags. We intend to use same on our vessel. In European ports there are heavy fines for wrong entry. With electronic ORB we have addressed this problem. Wrong entry will not be accepted by system and office can see live figures. Most of the classes, flag accept remote inspection. We have seen the video and documents require lots of time and effort. We have addressed this problem with smart glasses. Upon owners confirmation, We supply smart glasses upon owners confirmation which helps us to have clear audio and video in office for remote inspection.
