5 Types Of
Employee Well-Being

We believe “Happy crew = Safe ship”
and thus we have taken many initiatives to ensure we walk our talk.
Social Wellness

Humans are social beings who work best in cohorts. The benefits are: enhanced productivity, stronger work culture, and increased retention. As an employer, we have initiated programs that build relationships amongst our people, make them feel valued, and closely involve them in our assigned goals. With our social media group, our seafarers that have served on our vessel can stay in touch so relationships that are built onboard can be nurtured and fostered forever. This also helps us all to stay in touch and if required to extend helping hand to other colleagues.

Emotional wellness

Staying away from loved/ close ones for many months together is not easy. To top it, the demanding working hours for all and being unable to disconnect from work, problems like these are creating a dent in overall well-being. At Sirtica, we intend to recognize these symptons and break the stigma around mental health. We also have a dedicated helpline which can be reached with any kind of personal or professional matter without being biased.

Environmental wellness

Things like long working hours, tight deadlines, unrealistic expectations, all contribute to a toxic workplace. Thus depreciating employees’ motivation and productivity. We try and spot any signs of declining work culture by listening to employees’ problems, and understanding their relationship with their coworkers.

Financial wellness

Dedicated staff many times fail to accomplish their financial goals even after putting in the required hardwork. This can be very frustrating. We look after and have hired financial advisors to advice our team on financial planning programs that can help in creating a workforce that is financially and emotionally secured.
